Roosmaryn Mother & Baby Clinic opened in March 1996. We were the first private baby clinic in the Vaal Triangle, and after 30 years still going strong.

Our Services
Newborn baby first consultation between 0-5 weeks. We recommend consultation after 1 week. Includes breastfeeding support.
Qualified Breastfeeding Consultant available
Guidance for mom and dad with baby & toddler challenges. Includes month-to-month stimulation homework, introducing of solid foods, and how to raise a child in general.

Sr. Marietjie Roos
Founder & Senior Sister
Sr. Marietjie Roos had 15 years of experience when she opened the mother and baby clinic and has been helping mothers for over 40 years.
She is a SANC (South African Nursing Council) registered nurse practitioner.
Qualifications:
GENERAL NURSE
PSYCHIATRIC NURSE
MIDWIFE
COMMUNITY NURSING SCIENCE
She does papsmears, insertion of intra-uterine devices, contraceptives, all immunisations, breastfeeding support, baby advice & support, and pregnancy classes for mom & dad.
She is available at ROOSMARYN CLINIC on MONDAYS, WEDNESDAYS, and FRIDAYS, and on the FIRST SATURDAY of every month.

Jené Venter
Jené Venter is a registered dietitian and lactation consultant who supports mothers and families with personalised nutrition care and breastfeeding guidance. She provides dietary education for conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, gastrointestinal disorders, and more.
Jené also offers pre-natal and in-hospital breastfeeding consultations, as well as continued support after birth, to help improve your chances of breastfeeding successfully.
She is available at Roosmaryn Mother & Baby Clinic every day of the week.
Consultations may be claimed from all medical aids, subject to available benefits. Cash consultations are available and charged according to time spent.
